Black-and-White is my new body of work, consisting of five acrylic paintings on mixed media paper. Through these pieces, I explore the question: Is anything in life truly black or white, or does everything exist in varying shades of gray?
Each painting in the series stands apart, reflecting the diversity and complexity of these questions. Some paintings lean heavily into black, others into white, and some into gray, embodying the spectrum of possibilities. They exhibit dynamic movement, palpable tension, and a raw energy that underscores the internal struggles we all face. Each piece possesses its own unique rawness, amplifying the emotional resonance and individuality of the work.
This series aims to challenge the viewer to reflect on their own experiences with duality, ambiguity, and the beauty that lies in the unresolved.
